Jesse got part of Spring Break week off of work. So, we went down to Tennessee for a couple of days. We went to Dollywood (yes, as in Dolly Parton's amusement park) and the Smoky Mountains.
Dollywood:
There was one ride at Dollywood that was called the Mystery Mine. Jesse considered it one of the top 5 rides that he has ever been on in his life. and it was one of Alyssa's favorites at the park. My reaction? Just plain AWFUL!! Part of the ride is indoors and part is outdoors. The outdoors part looked fun to me. The inside involved 2 rides going straight up on your back followed by steep drops. One is (as quoted from the website) "a hair-raising 95-degree, 85-foot vertical drop that plunges into darkness". I should have read about that ride online before I went.
